Pilgrim furniture store selling out stock before Manchester move

Pilgrim Furniture & Mattress City is having an inventory sale.

The Manchester store will close and relocate to another space in the Plaza at Burr Corners. To celebrate the move, the company is selling out its entire stock from all four locations.

At the end of the sale, the company will relocate the Manchester store to 1811 Tolland Turnpike, as well as restocking all four of its showrooms.

“We have decided to make a substantial investment in all four stores, including the relocation of our Manchester store and remerchandising our sales floors with all new, exciting home furnishing,” Michael Albert, owner of the company, said.

The store opened in January 2010 and is the second youngest of the four Connecticut locations. The chain also has stores in Southington, Danbury, and Milford.
